Baby brand Mama & Papas is aiming to be more “social media friendly” with the launch of its new career site, according to HR director Karl Brown.

The site, launched last month, reflects the firm’s ‘Love Life’ marketing campaign and features an improved tracking system so candidates receive regular updates from Mamas & Papas.

Applicants can also subscribe for job alerts so they can view the status of their application at anytime by logging into their account, while the site is also linked to the major online job boards such as Monster, Retail Choice and CV Library.

The career site also has a talent bank and can cater for internal applicants with a streamlined application process.

Brown says: “We hope to attract the best people to join us here at Mamas & Papas and so I’m pleased that this new website allows us to showcase our current talent. We also hope to become more social media friendly, linking the new careers site with innovative technologies sharing our opportunities across social media/networking platforms.”
