Major Players heads poll_2

Stopgap and Badenoch & Clark also honoured

Marketing recruiter Major Players has come top in a poll compiled by the Sunday Times of the best small companies to work for.

The London-based firm’s staff gave the company the top three scores in 48 out of 65 questions about its employment policies, perks and working culture.

Major Players also won the Best for Wellbeing Award for promoting a work/life balance. Jack Gratton, chief executive of Major Players, said: “It’s a great fillip for attracting staff and shows recruitment is a serious career option offering the same kind of benefits as other professional services.”

Recruitment marketing agency Stopgap came 10th in the small companies list; while Badenoch & Clark, the finance recruiter, made the top 20 in the list of the top 100 companies to work for with 250 employees or more.
