Subscription service LOVEFiLM is on the hunt for digital talent as it aims to expand its London-based workforce by 20% over the next three months, the firm has announced.

Subscription service LOVEFiLM is on the hunt for digital talent as it aims to expand its London-based workforce by 20% over the next three months, the firm has announced.

Following its purchase by Amazon in January, LOVEFiLM says it is looking for people who “share a passion for films and innovative business”.

The firm says it is particularly seeking people who can help strengthen its digital offering as LOVEFiLM continues to expand its Watch Online service (via interconnected TVs and PlayStation3). Current London-based vacancies include web developer, and mobile device and web testers.

Simon Calver, chief executive of LOVEFiLM, says: “Following Amazon’s acquisition of LOVEFiLM we have created around 40 jobs at our London office, half of which are in the technology and digital sphere. In line with our constant digital expansion we are extremely pleased to continue to create new opportunities for people who are looking for careers that they can not only develop and grow in, but enjoy.”
