Recruiters have been urged to look outside the NHS to find talent by Deb Clarke, director of HR at NHS Tower Hamlets

Clarke told Recruiter: “We have to look wider than the NHS. There is a tendency to believe that only people from an NHS background can work in the NHS. That is not necessarily the case - I have not got an NHS background. We need to be more flexible. We cannot compromise on talent but we need to be flexible about how you spot it and observe it.”
