Two out of three City workers believe London will reign supreme as the leading global financial services capital of the world for another decade, according to research by eFinancialcareers.com.

Sarah Butcher, editor of eFinancialcareers.com, says: “London is the world’s leading international financial centre. It is cosmopolitan, fun and attractive. It has a flexible regulatory framework and its time zone and language make it the location of choice for financiers working with the US, Europe and Asia. The City has every reason to go from strength to strength.” 

     
According to the poll, 13% believe that Dubai will rise in prominence over the next ten years, with 10% predicting a similar outcome for New York and 9.3% for the up and coming oriental powerhouse of Shanghai.
