London is the 17th most expensive city to live in Europe, according to the latest Cost of Living Surveyfrom Mercer.

London is the 17th most expensive city to live in Europe, according to the latest Cost of Living Surveyfrom Mercer.

The survey, which covers 214 cities hires five continents and measures the comparative cost of over 200 items in each location, including housing, transport, food, clothing, household goods and entertainment, shows after Moscow, Geneva, Zurich and Copenhagen, the most expensive cities in Europe are Oslo (11) in Norway, Milan (15) in Italy, London and Paris (both 17) and Bern (22) in Switzerland.
