Former UK head of HR at Habitat, Sean Thomas, is the new head of HR at restaurant chain Nandos.

Thomas is a former HR business partner at BAA Gatwick Airport and J Sainsbury.

Appointments: Oakleaf Partnership appoints Rachel Richardson to board

HR recruiter Oakleaf Partnership has appointed Rachel Richardson to the board of Oakleaf Partnership.

Richardson joins chairman Brendan Forster and David Moss as a non-executive director. 

Richardson has more than 20 years’ HR experience in financial services, pharmaceuticals, professional services, IT and leisure at start-up businesses and global multinationals. 

Appointments: Mario Mazzocchi appointed by Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance

Mario Mazzocchi is the new head of the recruitment finance division at Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

Replacing Paul Saunders, the outgoing head of the division, the former head of structured trade finance at Lloyds TSB will be responsible for continuing to drive the ongoing business of the recruitment division.

In early 2010 Mazzocchi will be joined in the next few months by a new business development manager for the recruitment finance division who will have extensive recruitment experience.

Gloucestershire-based recruiter Omega Resource Group has launched an executive search division and appointed Steven Fulwell to oversee development of the business nationwide.
 
The new executive search division will recruit mid to senior level executives, sourcing candidates for senior, specialist and difficult-to-fill positions. Sectors catered for will include engineering, technology and construction/built environment.
 
Fulwell joins from Hill McGlynn and has executive search and specialist consultancy experience in the engineering, manufacturing, property, marketing, sales and construction sectors.
 

Appointments: Jackie Richardson appointed at Torus

Global speciality insurer Torus has appointed Jackie Richardson as senior vice president, head of global HR.

Richardson, who joins from global market research firm Synovate, reports to global chief operating officer, Naveen Anand, and will implement and lead the human resources strategy for the group worldwide.
