A La Carte acquisition, evolution not revolution, says Hogarth

Industrial recruiter Staffline’s acquisition of A La Carte Recruitment is an evolutionary move rather than a revolutionary one, according to Andy Hogarth, Staffline’s chairman and chief executive.

Commenting on the acquisition completed last month, Hogarth told Recruiter: “We have an acquisition policy to grow in our current core sectors and to diversify into related ones. Although we are an industrial recruiter, specialising in food and manufacturing, A La Carte operates in food processing and hospitality so it takes us into a related but different sector. It is an evolution rather than a revolution.

“We are looking to grow the business at A La Carte. We are certainly not looking to lose people. The aim is to take more people on as the company grows.”
