Korus eyes growth following InterQuest investment

The  £200,000 investment in multisector recruiter Korus Recruitment by InterQuest will enable the group to open further offices throughout the UK, according to its chief executive David Seear.

InterQuest Group has taken a 50.1% controlling interest in Korus and plans to  makes available further debt funding options to the company to fund its growth plans.

Seear told Recruiter: “Over the next 18 months you will see a number of new Korus Recruitment Group subsidiaries being formed with new offices established around the UK. Each business will be run by one or more business leaders that we will source from the industry, and each business will be focused on providing specialist contract and interim recruitment services in IT or highly complementary sectors.

“Our objectives are to grow Korus Recruitment Group into a substantial contract and interim recruitment business. We know that this requires a sensible and sound financial platform to expand from and therefore the investment from Interquest puts this structure firmly in place. Of course we also gain many other advantages from this joint venture with a specialist recruitment group of their calibre.”
