Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International has been chosen by Blockbuster to find a new chief executive by the end of the year, as required by a financing agreement included in the Dallas-based company’s pre-arranged bankruptcy reorganisation.

Melanie Kusin in Korn/Ferry’s New York office will lead the search team that includes specialists in digital executive talent.
