Kingston takes account of financial strategy at HR GO

National recruitment and business services group HR GO has appointed Mark Kingston as group finance director following theretirement of Tony Prior.

Based at HR GO’s head office in Ashford, Kent, King ston will continue to develop the group’s finance strategy. With more than 11 years’ experience as a finance director, his main focus will be the financial stewardship of the group, including the evaluation of investment opportunities and profit streams of the group’s 50-plus businesses.

Commenting on his new role, Kingston said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of working within this diverse and dynamic business, looking for new ways to drive the company forward and helping to take HR GO to its next stage of development.”

Industrial and engineering specialist Key Appointments has taken on three new staff. Craig Holden, previously with Barrow and Grundy, has been appointed North-West sales manager, to focus on temporary recruitment. Justine Scammell, formerly of Major Recruitment, has 10 yearsexperience of working within the temporary and permanent engineering/technical sectors. University graduate Chris Lord has also joined the staff as a trainee recruitment consultant.

CF Appointments, the executive search and selection consultants for charity and not-forprofit organisations, has recruited Ian Marshall assenior consultant for education following a successful career in education. The company has also appointed Anna Gardet as consultant. She has a background in charity organisations and IT recruitment.

Heat Recruitment in Bristol has appointed Richard Derham, previously a consultant with the IPS Group and Stonestreet Hawes, to enhance its legal division.

Four new positions have been created at Aberdeen-based Thorpe Molloy Recruitment. Debbie Middleton is the new HR manager, joining from consultancy firm AMEC, where she was an employment development team leader. Deborah Reid has been appointed consultant in the engineering division. The internal business support team has been strengthened with the appointment of Jacqueline Christie as executive assistant to the directorate. She will assume responsibility for internal and external communications. Cheryl Simpson joins the team as payroll administrator.

Engineering and call centre recruiter More Employment has appointed Chris Doughty as a consultant to bolster the Wimbourne-based firm’s
temporary placements. Doughty has 15 years’ experience in the recruitment industry.

IT recruiter Maximus has welcomed three new account managers to its team. Melanie Coudert has a background in media sales; William Cantrell arrives after graduating with a degree in psychology and Harjit Khatkar is the third appointment.

NOW Accountancy has launched a senior permanent/interim division and appointed two new consultants to run it. Jenny Hanson will manage all interim/temporary positions while Zahid Hussain will run the desk for permanent placements. The Cardiff-based firm’s senior division will focus on vacancies with a base salary of £30,000 and above.

Accrington-based multi-sector recruiter Cummins Mellor has selected Iain Russell to head the technical desk.

HR GO has appointed Craig Vidler as non-executive director. His responsibilities will include making strategic contributions to the group’s development.

International executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has appointed three new partners, Evita Lune, Mona Neagoe and Gaultier Vasseur. Lune will oversee Estonia and Latvia, Neagoe takes Moldova and Serbia, while Vasseur will be responsible for Central Asia.

Outsourcing specialist CPH Consulting has chosen its first nonexecutive director. Kevin Alcock will assist with the Warwickshirebased company’s growth strategy.

Recruitment specialist for the hi-tech sector, IC Group, has appointed five new consultants — Dave Dixon, Jeff Wu, Claire Giles, Emma Windows and Daniel Nash.

Nadine Poole has joined legal and financial recruiter Sellick Partnership as a senior recruiter in its Stoke office. Poole joins after three years at Nottinghambased SF Group.
