Kelly Services revenues up 8%

Kelly Services has seen revenues rise by 8% for the first quarter of 2010.

The international staffing giant’s results reveal:

  • Q1 revenue of $1.1bn
  • On a constant currency basis, revenue rose by 4%
  • Losses from operations for Q1 was $1.6m, compared to losses from operations of $30.6m reported for the first quarter of 2009

Carl T Camden, president and chief executive, said: “After many months, we were pleased to see the economy pick up and note positive trends in our business. Combined with our ongoing focus on cost control, those factors helped us return to profitability in what has typically been a weak quarter for our industry.”
