Former manager of Hammond Resources’ Edinburgh operation, Martin Kay, has launched a new firm, Martin Kay Consulting.

Based in Edinburgh, it will service the professional services sectors of accountancy, legal and executive search.

Kay told Recruiter: “I am not looking to be the next Michael Page or Robert Half but to provide a down to earth, honest, professional and personal approach.

“Clients are looking for that bit of added value more than ever. I’m offering a real partnership to my clients and candidates and I’ve had nothing less than positive and enthusiastic responses from both. We’re not hiding behind branding or red tape, which means we can truly tailor a solution specific to that individual requirement.”

Kay says that one of the big things that makes him stand out from the competition is a 12-month guarantee on all permanent placements.  Kay has built a network of strategic partnerships, which allows the business to service requirements throughout the UK.
