The government needs to a tread a fine line over slashing banker’s bonuses, according to Amy Butler, director at Joslin Rowe.
Butler told Recruiter: “While no-one can deny that receiving bonuses for failure is intrinsically wrong on every commercial and moral level, government needs to be careful not to isolate the UK in its stance on bankers’ bonuses. We cannot afford to drive successful global banking brands and skilled banking professionals overseas.”
