Marble Recruitment and legal firm Morgan Cole have teamed up to offer advice and solutions to a range of issues commonly encountered by their clients.
These range from absenteeism and handling troublemakers, to performance management, health-related issues and age discrimination.
Paul Gorin, of Marble Recruitment in Cardiff, says: “By using our collective expertise we have come up with a formula that helps companies improve staff performance and motivation.”
The latest in a series of free, monthly seminars or study groups drew more than 60 delegates from 50 private and public sector organisations across South East Wales – an acceptance rate of more than 20%.
Anna Denton, of solicitors Morgan Cole, who gives the presentations, said: “Our approach is unusual in that we may present a detailed case study which delegates discuss together and share their own experiences. Then there is a group discussion on how to tackle a range of issues.
“One of the main advantages for those taking part is that they can get free legal advice and access to many other private and public sector organisations who are looking for solutions to common workplace problems. They benefit from shared experience and go away feeling they can handle these situations.”
Gorin set up Marble in 2004, specialising in recruitment of sales, HR, marketing and managerial professionals.
