Temporary and contract staffing specialist Newwave Recruitment has bought FRL Recruitment for an undisclosed sum.

Nationwide insolvency practitioners SFP assisted with the sale of the London-based recruiter, which has 10 permanent employees and an annual turnover of £2m.

FRL’s founder and director John Davis recently passed away and SFP worked alongside FRL’s employees to ensure a sale could be achieved, despite the difficult circumstances.

The sale, which went through on Wednesday 15 September, secured the permanent staff positions at the agency. It is understood FRL Recruitment will continue trading under its current name as part of Newwave Recruitment.
