MD launches new business

Jobserve founder Robbie Cowling (pictured) has given up his position of managing director of the company to launch a new business, and has been replaced by his brother John Cowling.

Robbie Cowling said that the new company, called JobG8, would be radically different from anything else in the UK job board market.

Key features include only charging clients when a candidate applies, variable price according to position and the difficulty of sourcing suitable candidates; and revenue sharing – jobs boards and others providing content will get a share of the revenue when applicants apply.

The service is expected to be up and running in around six weeks time.
