Over a third of all New Year resolutions relate to people looking to advance their careers, according to a survey by Stark Brooks Associates.

As a result, it is launching an initiative to help people in Yorkshire/Manchester, who are confused not only about their next step, but how to reach their long-term career objectives.

The free initiative, named as Career Month, will run throughout December and early January offering expert advice to people in all employment situations. The team of consultants will advise individuals on how to plan their career using a career-mapping tool, which introduces key timings and goals. In addition, they can advise on how to advance within your chosen profession, the different options available to you and, if required, highlight other careers, which suit your specific skills and capabilities. Individuals can book an appointment both in and out of office hours.
