Confidence in the UK’s current employment situation remains at a low level, according to research from the Nationwide Building Society.

It found that just 48% of people currently felt positive about the number of jobs that were available, while 28% felt negative.

However the research found that there was an increase in the number of people who thought that the economy would improve over the next since months, up from 14% to 18%.
