Local business search company thomsonlocal.com has appointed Liz Jervis to HR & training director.

Reporting directly to chief executive Elio Schiavo, Jervis joins from zinc mining, recycling and refining producer ZincOx Resources, and will be responsible for talent management, learning and development for the firm’s 750 employees based across the UK.

The role is certainly not one of a ’caretaker’ and I am thrilled to be able to work with the senior management team to deliver the vision and goals the company has set out - Liz Jervis
