Investment in IT staff_2
Companies are looking to spend more money online to recruit IT personnel, according to a March 2006 survey by website fish4jobs.
The study found that 57% of companies believe that more money is being spent on recruiting online today than in 2005.
Only 29% of companies questioned thought this spend had remained the same since last year. A mere 14% thought that there was a slight decrease in the trend.
The research also found that the top 10 IT-related searches on its website by job role are: technical support, user acceptance tester, data analyst, project management, consultancy, helpdesk, network management, web development, quality assurance management and system analysis.
Joe Slavin (pictured), fish4 chief executive officer, commented: “There's no question that more people are becoming qualified in IT disciplines and are looking for a wide range of IT positions.”
