Innovate CV is launching a new online interview tool, which is available to agencies that use its white label service, which allows recruiters create branded CVs with their own logo to distribute to clients. The company is also opening a US office in New York and is currently carrying out beta testing with a number of US recruiters.
Adam Lewis, Innovate CV’s chief operating officer, told Recruiter that the launch of the interview tool dovetails well with its plans to launch into the international market. “US recruiters like the idea of finding out more about a candidate before they make their shortlist and fly candidates in,” he said.
Using the tool, a recruiter can invite a candidate who has submitted an Innovate CV to undertake an interview on its Innovate CV portal, using a bespoke set of questions that can be answered through text, video or multiple choice. They can also set a time limit on the interview.
“So if you are looking for a sales person and want to see something of their personality, you can set them to answer by video,” Lewis explained. “Or if it’s a graduate position you can set a number of multiple choice questions to be answered in a set time limit and a recruiter can then search on those people who got more than 65-70% of the questions right.”
Once submitted, answers can be automatically added to a candidate record.
Innovate CV also recently announced integration with the job distribution and candidate sourcing technology Broadbean. This allows its mutual clients to automatically create agency-branded Innovate CVs directly from responses received by Broadbean.
Candidates whose Innovate CVs come from job boards via Broadbean can also be easily invited for interview using the new tool.
“We recognised early on that the way forward in terms of streamlining processes and bringing efficiencies for recruiters was integration with many of their existing platforms,” Lewis said. “Recruiters who can benefit from different systems being integrated together to avoid additional keystrokes will more than likely be the most efficient.”
