New website to gauge the e-state of the nation

A new website has been launched to find out what the UK’s 29 million internet users are doing online.

The 'how e are you?' e-test, at www.howeru.com , takes less than five minutes to complete and gives users the chance to find out their ‘e-score’, a score which relates to how well they know the net.

Tim Elkington, managing director of online consultants Enhance Media, which is behind the project, said: “How e are you? is free and it’s a bit of fun. So many of us use the internet every day but how do we compare with our friends and colleagues and with the rest of the UK? It will be interesting to know how 'e' we are as individuals and as a nation, and watch how our internet use develops over the years.”
