US sports network NBC Sports will bring 450 new jobs to Stamford, Connecticut, reports the Hartford Courant newspaper.

US sports network NBC Sports will bring 450 new jobs to Stamford, Connecticut, reports the Hartford Courant newspaper.

Jobs with the sports network will pay on average $70k (£44k) a year and will be located in the former factory of Clairol hair dye.

State governer Dannel Malloy told the Courant the company had been attracted not just by tens of millions in dollars of business loans that could become grants, but by tax credits of 30% on film production spending and 20% on infrastructure spend.
