Specialist cabinet maker Custom Aircraft Cabinets (CAC) and its sister firm Reliable Firm Protection are to add 170 jobs, with the former moving across the state of Arkansas to new premises.

This is according to online news service ArkansasBusiness.com, with CAC’s website noting that it will be moving and doubling its workforce from the present 140.Average hourly rates for the new jobs at CAC will range between $15 (£9.40) and $20, while the jobs at Reliable Firm Protection will be around the $20 mark.

State governor Mike Beebe tells ArkansasBusiness: "Aerospace has consistently been one of our state's top exports, and CAC has found its niche for prosperity in this important Arkansas industry.”
