The public sector will lead job creation in the UAE in 2012, with technology, healthcare, education and retail and telecom, according recruiters speaking to Emirates247.com.

Konstantina Sakellariou, director at executive search firm Stanton Chase, told Emirates247.com: “The governmental and semi-governmental sectors will lead the way, because of the increased spending by the governments of each country, in order to keep a high growth rate, support nationalisation and develop the infrastructure of the country.”

Hasnain Qazi, Middle East business manager at senior-level recruiter Huxley Associates, told Emirates247.com: “Healthcare, education and telecoms will be the three most buoyant sectors taking into consideration the micro and macroeconomic conditions.”

The website suggests that 2012 could see the country’s biggest job growth in history, after a stabilising 2011.
