North-West based recruitment-to-recruitment firm Qui Recruitment has entered into a joint collaboration with rec-to-rec firm Scott Recruitment Services in Melbourne, Australia.

The partnership sees Qui Recruitment sourcing and referring UK-based consultants who are interested in working in Australia.

Luke Collard, senior consultant at Scott Recruitment, Melbourne, had previously worked with one of the director’s at Qui Recruitment, Jo Hood, at another recruiter in the UK.

He told Recruiter: “When I returned to Australia earlier this year to work for Scott Recruitment, I wanted to form a partnership with a UK rec-to-rec, so I made contact with Jo and she introduced me to Lysha Holmes [owner of Qui Recruitment].”

Both parties were looking for a partner with similar company values and culture. Holmes told Recruiter: “The Australian R2R market is very candidate-driven and the urgency for UK recruiters remains high. It’s a great opportunity for anyone looking to have a fresh start in a strong economy.”

Collard adds: “Qui has a very thorough process, so candidates that are referred to us are thoroughly qualified both in terms of experience and genuine desire to move.”
