Previously, criticism has been levelled at the way in which Kenyan and Ugandan staff have dominated such bodies, leaving the other EAC member states – Burundi, Rwanada and Tanzania – poorly represented.
The quota system is due to come into immediate effect once approved by the Council of Ministers.
