US retained executive search firm, Cook Associates Executive Search, has appointed Harry Wilson as managing director.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wilson will support Cook’s financial services & insurance practice, working with practice managing director Kevin Parker.

Wilson joins Cook from American home mortgage buyer Freddie Mac, where he was director of executive recruiting since 2006. Before then he was senior vice-president and MD of executive recruiting at financial services firm Wells Fargo (Wachovia/First Union).
