International Appointments: Russell Reynolds adds two important hires

Global executive search and assessment firm Russell Reynolds Associates has made two important additions to its knowledge management and marketing capabilities.

Global executive search and assessment firm Russell Reynolds Associates has made two important additions to its knowledge management and marketing capabilities.

Todd Safferstone has been appointed managing director, global head of research and knowledge management, and Tim Silverman has been taken on as director, marketing and communications for the Americas. Both positions will be based in New York City.

Safferstone joins the firm after 11 years with the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) where he served in senior roles within the corporate leadership council (CLC) practice. Most recently, he was MD, CLC Recruiting and CLC Learning and Development, where he led the development and execution of product strategies for two global research programmes.

Silverman joins Russell Reynolds after 14 years at the CEB where he held a number of roles in business development and consulting. Most of his time at CEB was spent in the organisation’s financial services practice, in which he oversaw international sales and account management, led new product development and consulted chief operating officers.

Most recently, he worked in Sydney, Australia and was responsible for designing and implementing strategy for the firm’s HR practice in Asia-Pacific.
