International – UAE: Etihad’s international recruitment touches down in Ireland

Etihad Airways announced on Saturday that it is to recruit around 100 new employees, mainly cabin crew, from Ireland over the coming months.

This is part of a wider international recruitment drive, with a spokesperson for the company telling Recruiter that the airline has been looking for “2,000 new cabin crew in 2011 from all around the world”.

The Etihad spokesperson tells Recruiter that successful applicants for cabin crew positions could expect a salary of €40k (£34k) and subsidised housing in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad also confirms to Recruiter that this recruitment is delivered in-house.
