Employers offering interesting work, regular recognition and opportunities for quick promotion are the most popular with jobseekers according to a survey by Accenture.

“We found that what is considered important to potential recruits was remarkably consistent across geographies,” says Accenture global director of recruitment John Campagnino.

Other characteristics sought in jobs were indications that the employer is well established and is likely to have long-term prosperity (42%) and indications that its focuses on its employees (42%).
