Innovative centre for candidates to self-improve

Innovate CV, the company behind the global interactive CV platform of the same name, is continuing its drive to make it easier for recruiters to verify a candidate’s suitability for a role with the official launch of its Career & Training Centre.

It means that a candidate can take an online course, sit a test and then have a certificate and score uploaded to their CV.

The centre gives candidates access to more than 100 interactive courses on a range of areas such as communication, management, interpersonal skills and IT. The centre includes courses from leading learning content provider Video Arts.

“It’s really about having a lot more transparency and helping recruiters assess candidates quickly and showing employers that a person is verified,” said Adam Lewis, chief operating officer at Innovate CV. “On the candidate’s side, it helps them identify skills gaps and self-assess themselves.”

Innovate CV allows candidates to create a multi-media CV containing work samples, images, audio and video and provides a platform for recruiters and candidates to securely distribute and track it. It also offers a white label version of its software so recruiters can create branded Innovate CVs with their own logo to distribute to clients.

Also, a recruitment consultancy could have a direct and seamless link from their website to an Innovate CV portal with their branding. Although it can’t announce any details of partnerships yet, Lewis reports a high level of interest in the white label approach.

“Recruiters want to enhance their offerings to clients in terms of making CVs look more up-to-date and also showing that they are moving with the times,” he said.

“So this gives them an easy win.”
