The Australian government is set to launch the third part of an advertising campaign to tackle the country's skill shortage. The Welfare to Work campaign will encourage employers to look beyond the traditional avenues for finding staff, by targeting disabled people, older people, parents returning to work, and the long-term unemployed. The Australian government is concerned that, without such initiatives, the country could be short of 200,000 workers by 2012.
