Mumbai, India-based retained executive search firm 3P Consultants has placed Subir Basak as new chief executive of Celestial Biologicals, according to the Association of Executive Search Consultants.

Basak was most recently the global oncology head of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. His experience includes business development, sales and marketing, research and development, and operations.

Ahmedabad-based Celestial Biologicals, a subsidiary of Intas Biopharmaceuticals, focuses on manufacturing and marketing of plasma-derived products mainly albumin, immunoglobulin and coagulation factors.
