An InterContinental Hotels spokesperson told Recruiter: “We are opening 28 hotels in the UK over the next two to three years.

“We have an InterContinental in London and there’s a new Holiday Inn and a new Staybridge Suites hotel in Stratford overlooking the Olympic park. We also have hotels in York, Newcastle, Blackpool, Birmingham, Colchester, Southend, Walsall, Bristol and Edinburgh.

“We are recruiting everything you can think of that a new hotel needs. We post all jobs on our jobsite, www.ihg.jobs, and at the same time we also post jobs on trade sites. We also try to put posters on the exteriors of the hotels.”
