HR needs generalists to aid business growth, says Mason

HR requires more generalists with a focus on businesses growth, according David Mason, international talent acquisition director at global engineering services company CH2M Hill.

Mason told Recruiter: “What is looked for more today is HR generalists who are closer to an HR director. [Generalists] who can work with and partner centres of excellence, who know the business and deploy a range of interventions that will help the business grow, save costs and be more efficient. I don’t think there are enough of those around at the moment.”
