House of Commons spends £435,073 on recruitment

The House of Commons spent £435,073 on recruitment in the last financial year.

The figures, obtained by Bullhorn, for the period in financial year 2009/10 as 28 February 2010 reveal:

  • advertising £144,971
  • staff costs £198,695
  • other recruitment costs (eg response handling, testing, website maintenance) £91,407
  • total £435,073

The data is for the House of Commons only. Staff costs are actual costs for HR staff including pensions and NI contributions.
