AIM-listed firm splashes out £450,000

AIM-listed Hot Group has bought yet another recruitment company.

Surrey-based Netrecruit, which targets young people aged 18-28, is hot group’s second acquisition this year.

Hot Group bought FIVE recruitment firms last year in an aggressive acquisition programme funded by a share issue.

The latest deal is worth £450,000 and will allow Hot Group to tap into a network of 130,000 registered users and revenues of more than £200,000.

Clients include Compass Group, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Mark Warner, Thomas Cook, Halifax Building Society and Girlguiding UK.

Founder Andrew Bird has joined Hot Group as head of e-marketing. Netrecruit’s websites include justjobs4students.co.uk, justjobs4graduates.co.uk, gapyearjobs.co.uk and summerjobs4students.co.uk.

Hot Group started 2004 by buying The Graduate for £400,000.
