The University of Derby has appointed Dr Tristram Hooley as its new head of the international centre for guidance studies (iCeGS).

The centre forms part of the University’s Research Centre for Education and Career Development and gives practical solutions which contribute to youth policy, adult guidance and workforce development throughout the UK.

Hooley, who previously worked at  CRAC (the Career Development Organisation) as senior programme manager, led the national Vitae programme championing career and skills development for academic researchers.
