Health care tie-up offers new model

Live-in care and daily care services employment business Universal Care has launched a new service to provide private clients in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire with out of hours access to general practitioner care.

The Home Care+ service is a partnership between Universal Care and private general medical service DOCTORnow. Both businesses are based in Beaconsfield, Bucks. For a £10 fee per month, Universal’s clients can access a DOCTORnow GP through a dedicated help line.

Universal managing director, Peter Cullimore, told Recruiter that there may be a wider future for such partnerships. “This form of co-operation could be considered in other areas of recruitment,” he said.
