International executive search and selection firm Hays Executive has won a contract to recruit 15 executives for a local government association.
The deal is with Communities and Local Government (CLG), on behalf of the National Tenant Voice (NTV) Project Group, anorganisation set up to give social housing tenants in England a voice and influence at a national level, for 15 people to govern the newly formed NTV.
The contract will deliver six external board members and nine tenant members from the National Tenant Council.
Hays is also currently recruiting a chief executive and two officers to the organisation.
David Cairncross, operations director, at Hays Executive, says: “We are very pleased to be recruiting for the second phase of this project. Having spent the past six months working so closely withCLG to recruit 30 of the 50 social housing tenants to sit on the NTC, we believe we are well placed to find the right people for the board, and the initial staff team. Successfully completing this next phase of the recruitment will be instrumental in giving the existing NTV group the support it needs going forward.”
