Harvey Nash records strong revenues

International recruiter Harvey Nash has reported strong revenue growth for the year ended 31 January 2009.

International recruiter Harvey Nash has reported strong revenue growth for the year ended 31 January 2009.

Revenue for the period was £420.1m, while gross profit was £69.2m and operating profit was £10.4m.

UK revenue growth was up 12% which Harvey Nash says was achieved through leveraging a portfolio of services, while European revenues increased by 44% with a strong performance in Scandinavia.

Chief executive Albert Ellis says: “Our strategy of focusing on annuity revenue streams has put the group in a strong position at a time of uncertain market conditions. The excellent financial results for the year were the result of increased market share combined with a prudent approach to managing the business.”
