Gentlemen, they say, prefer blondes, but brunettes are paid more
Brunette women are paid more than blonde women, according to a new survey.
The survey, from hair colourists Schwarzkopf and Henkel, found that, on average, brunettes earn £4,250 more a year than blondes do.
A spokesman for Schwarzkopf and Henkel told the Daily Mail: “Our research shows that blondes still do have more fun but aren’t taken as seriously as women with darker hair. Brunettes are climbing the career ladder quicker.”
