Greatfleet upbeat after results _2
Greatfleet has not ruled out future acquisitions after announcing healthy interim results.
The company announced pre-tax profit of £3.1m, up from £0.7m last year, and turnover increased to £5.4m, from £1.2m last year.

It recently strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of East-Anglia based Johnstones Recruitment Solutions and chairman Jonathan Hill said future additions were a possibility.
“I am confident that in due course we will be able to announce an attractive opportunity to add very significant scale to our business,” he said in a trading statement.
“However, the mistakes of the past will not be repeated and acquisitions will only be considered where they can add value to our already strong core business and be demonstrated to be in the short, medium and long term interests of our shareholders.”
It has been a time of transition for the company. It was formerly known as Longbridge, but it changed its name at the end of last year following the acquisition of Fleet Search and Selection. It also acquired International Doctors on Contract as part of its programme of expansion.
