Grafton Employment Group has launched a new recruitment outsourcing and HR consultancy brand targeting both Irish and global markets in a move designed to deliver a major long-term expansion of the Irish-based international group.

Grafton ESP – standing for employment solutions portfolio – will be based in Northern Ireland.

The new brand’s recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) service is targeted at large organisations with a range of recruitment needs, which could benefit from using the expertise of an outside provider.

Grafton ESP’s HR consultancy is aimed at organisations which are interested in creating more efficient HR processes or require one-off projects such as development programmes for their workforces.

Announcing the launch of the new division, Emma Zeeman, managing director of Grafton ESP, who is also HR director of Grafton Employment Group, says: “Grafton ESP is a new brand which combines our expertise in recruitment process outsourcing and in human resources consultancy.

“The Grafton Employment Group now operates from 72 offices in 19 different countries giving us unique experience of recruitment and HR globally.”

Ms Zeeman says: “We believe that the expertise and knowledge that lies within Grafton ESP represents a strongly exportable service which will enable us, as a Northern Ireland company, to develop markets in many countries.

“The economy will recover and, when it does, the competition between companies to hire the best talent will be even greater. Outsourcing to experts who know the market and understand how to access talent pools can provide an edge.

“We also believe this is the right time to launch Grafton ESP because the current situation is giving companies the time and opportunity to review and re-engineer their HR practices.”

The new division provides services previously delivered by Grafton Recruitment and sister company, SpenglerFox.

Skill-based hiring can have ugly consequences – what can go wrong?

Skill-based hiring (SBH) is a hiring strategy that focuses on recruiting and selecting candidates based primarily on their demonstrated ability to perform each skill required for the position.
