Telecoms recruiter Glotel has reported a 71% rise in pre-tax profit to £4.0m for the year ended March 31, 2006, compared with £2.35m in 2005.

The company’s turnover for the year was £134.2m, up 12% from £119.5m in 2005.

 “Our cash position is positive, we have funds available for expansion and are in good shape to continue our growth and success,” Glotel said in a statement.
