IT recruiter GCS Recruitment Specialists has launched an accountancy division.

The division will initially serve accountancy firms around the Thames Valley.

GCS managing director David Bloxham says: “The addition of an accountancy division to the expanding portfolio of GCS brands is a key development in our overall company vision. A great number of accountancy departments have been downsized during the recession. Now that there are definite signs of economic recovery, these departments will require a specialist recruiter to ensure that the best available talent is identified and brought on board.”
