The Gangmasters Licensing Authority has revoked the licence of Ashcroft Employment Services (Ashcrofts) without immediate effect.

The GLA made the announcement following an ITV West expose into the company, which brought the actions and allegations against Ashcrofts into the public domain.

A GLA investigation identified numerous non-compliances of the company and a police investigation in Devon where a number of workers were injured in a minibus accident.

The company has 20 working days to appeal against this decision or stop trading in the GLA regulated sectors.
