
Military bosses in Australia are looking to new media to help attract more people into the Department for Defence. Recruiters are using online games and podcasts in an effort to inspire more Australians to sign-up. The website features a wide range of games, including extreme battleships, and enables users to join a wider virtual community or build personal avatars. The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) has also launched 20 video podcasts to showcase the life of new recruits during training.
